A new goal of mine this year is to get out and enjoy the beauty of the earth more often thru hiking.
I've been taking available Saturdays at sunrise, not a ton going on at that time of day, and going on local hikes. We have 3 regional parks within a 7-minute drive from our house. I don’t have a lot of time alone, but this has been rejuvenating. Plus, it’s the best multi-tasking ever. I get to exercise AND be filled with peace.
Not only that, but I've taken some time for myself to enjoy something I love.
I've grown in appreciation for where I live and I've gained even more gratitude for God's beauty.
I’ve been to Shiloh, Foothill, and Riverfront Regional Parks. The first 3 hikes have been wildly successful. I can't begin to describe the beauty, which is fine, because I took pictures and video of most of it. Ha!
